I liked and enjoyed NIU College a lot. During my time at NIU College, I learned every aspect of Clinical Medical Assisting and clearly understand how to take care of patients. My teacher was great and taught me a lot. She was nice and took her time to explain the subject. Between all the teachers that I ever had, she was the best.
I have a friend that worked in a medical office and I wanted to do the same. I didn’t have a lot of money or time so I needed a program that was fast and affordable for me. I am married and I have a 2 year old daughter. When I first visited NIU College, the staff gave me all the information that I was asking about. While I was still in training, the school offered me to extern at a local urgent care for pediatrics. After one month they hired me!
I tried another (career college) but it was too expensive for me. Now I am 23 and have a baby and want to make sure we have a good future. Therefore, I have to work and finish my education as quickly as possible. NIU College programs meet my schedule and they are fast and more affordable than other colleges. In a year, I’ll be working in healthcare and plan to keep going. I want to be a pediatrician.
